A. No, The theoretical "Aryans" are from the area of what is now Kazakhstan on the north end of the Caspian Sea. From this region, they migrate both to the west and southeast to establish Aryan-Indic cultures in India and eventually to much of Europe in the Indo-European racial groups.

Why are Americans being pro-Georgians in the Russia/Georgia conflict?
Q. Dude, Russia has, by all means, the right to help their fellow citizens in South Ossetia. I don't see how Russia is violating any humane acts. It's not like Georgia is completely blameless. I'm all for Russia... okay, I'm not fully all for Russia now. LOL. But I'm not supporting the Georgians either.
Asked by Woot - Mon Aug 11 22:39:45 2008 - - 40 Answers - 0 Comments

A. We shouldn't support anybody, or anyone. We need to be neutral. But the fact is that Georgia started the mess by invading a province that broke off of them. South Ossetia has been pro-Russian, and has Russians living there, and Russian peacekeepers stationed in that region. Georgia was ethnic cleansing, and has been angering Russia by entering thru their airspace, and coasts. In the end, the Georgian army will pretty much be obliterated, thanks to their idiotic move against a province that hates them, and disturbed the Russian army by killing their peacekeepers. Let Georgia resolve their own mistakes. Good question.

A. Russia invaded Georgia because of the oil. Had NATO let Georgia in as a NATO member (as the U.S. was pushing for) Russia would have left Georgia alone. The NATO charter states that an attack on 1 member is an attack on all NATO members.

A. All the Georgians I have ever met were wonderful and very hospitable. I have never gotten the chance to visit there, but I have heard it is a beautiful country. The adage about God trying to decide where He could reserve a special place all for Himself while the Georgians were feasting and drinking toasts to God for creating such a beautiful world must be a true one. That Georgian chicken tabaka is really delicious (we had Caucasian-style grill restaurants in a place where I used to live) and the cheese bread khachapuri is absolutely scrumptious. I also think that Georgian script is quite intriguing. It looks like a very ancient language. I remember seeing lots of cliff dwellings in the area around Tbilisi from pictures my friends brought… [cont.]

The Georgia in the U.S. (Georgians only answer or former Georgians)?
Q. I was wondering, what are the best places to live in Georgia? Some background on what I am looking for is that I don't particularly enjoy total city..so I dont think Atlanta would be for me.Also, I enjoy living on the coast(seeing as I live on the coast of Northern California currently)or even in a more rural area.I just would like some input on what those of you from Georgia would suggest. Also, what is Jonesboro or Savannah like? Thanks in advance!
Asked by Gamber - Tue Aug 11 18:24:22 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Well, if you are wanting to live on the coast, Tybee Island, Jekyll Island, and Savannah are the places to be. Just keep in mind, they dont have crystal blue waters and white sands (thats found in the Gulf). If you want somewhere Rural, Augusta is really nice and so is Gwinnett County (just North of Atlanta).

What implications for Georgia crisis now we know Palin was a member of AKIP?
Q. It's coming out now that Palin, and her husband were members of Alaska Independence Party. Remember South Ossetia - they also wanted independence. And were shelled by Georgia, with training from Bush. There are many parallels to come out of this locally - nationally - and internationally. It'll get worse - because McCain's chief foreign affairs advisor is tied up with the Georgians, and receives payments to promote Georgia in USA
Asked by Richard_SM - Tue Sep 2 12:39:41 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Palin supports the gun-lobby (and is a life member of the NRA); She opposes the existing laws offering choice in abortion; She is an evangelical Christian who supports teaching of creationism in schools; She tried to ban books from her local library when mayor and (given her running mate is 72) has a reasonable chance of becoming president if McCain is elected. Yet she has less experience than many local councilors. She has none at all of running anything other than a town of 9,000 people. In those circumstances, her previous membership (and apparent continued support) for the wackos in the Alsakan Independence Party is the least of the country's worries, I'd have thought.

A. Oh I know he did. I knew all of this, it was obvious from the beginning even if you haven't been paying attention to that region and I know many people are not. Even though Russia has had it's past of corruption, there has to be a genuine state of justice for it to be a functioning nation. That would have been a good time for the United States to go ahead and form an alliance with Russia but that chance is out the window. Keep in mind I understand that it would be throwing a current ally under the bus, but that ally is weak, and we're just about to pull from Iraq anyway. Simply put, Georgia doesn't do anything but diminish us and we don't need them anymore.

Why did Joe Biden say we were going to rebuild Georgia?
Q. Putin broke it, he can fix it. Or ask the EU to rebuild Georgia, it's on their doorstep. Tell Belgium, Switzerland, and Denmark to fix it. I understand rebuilding Germany and Japan after WW2, I understand rebuilding Iraq, afterall we did trash em' all. Georgians, God Bless them, don't vote. A. Russia has always believed in, "2 steps forward ,1 step back" 1st they sent people to live in the Georgian owned South Ossetia, then these people started to cry for independence, then Russia inters in to save these people and also sent troops to Georgia. (2steps forward). U.S. and others decried the Russian presence in Georgia, so Russia pulls out of Georgia (1 step back) and Russia ends up owning South Ossetia.

Why didn't anyone stop the ethnic cleansing of Georgians in Abkhazia back in the 90's?
Q. I am beginning to understand why the Georgians hate the Russians so much .. apparently the Russians helped terrorists to equip, fund, and organise the killing, rape and torture of 30,000 Georgians in Abkhazia back in the 1990's. These terrorists subsequently overthrew (killed) the Georgian government of Abkhazia and are still in power today, and still funded by the Russians. Read here for more details: Warning, it is pretty gruesome and horrible. This would be like Cuba providing military support for terrorists in Florida, USA, so that Florida could become an independent country, independent of the USA. And then after independence is established Cuba starts moving a massive number of citizens into Florida. But instead substitute… [cont.]

A. yeah u are right Russia has ALWAYS supported the separatism in Georgia and provided the conflict zones with everything, even with weapons, and ALWAYS blackmailed Georgia they would admit the independence of those conflict zones,, this has been going for years! Russia using the name of peacekeepers had no limits, was allowed to do anything they wanted. if Georgia dared to say a word ot two they blackmailed us saying they r gonna give those conflict zones independence.. TJ its a lot complicated, Iran, oil, ,, all these things play its role ,, russia is still a powerful country , providing the Europe with fuel, energy and gas, so no1 wants to have a bad relationship with Russia

how can pro american countries like georgia and armenia and ukrine trust the USA?
Q. yes i agree the russians are wrong in attacking a pro-USA neighbouring country. Georgia has been trying to shed its past and is now in a fully western mode of thinking. It wants to be a member of the EU and NATO. Georghia has aslo helped the USA in Iraq.It is the third largest foregin army there. why are the western countries so shaky and weak if front to the russians? Where are all the promises made to the georgians? How can any east european country trust the west from now on? What if russia invades poland? who will send toops to fight the russians? It seems like talking and giving statments is not helping the situation. the world wants to see action and results.

A. Of course they cant trust USA. USA say - human rights is priority. And bombing Serbia. Thousands civlians deads. USA say - there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. And bombing and occupied it, but not find the weapon. Thousands civlians deads. USA say - Russia is agressor. But Georgia begin the war and killed 2000 civlians, not Russia. As result - pro american countries can't trust the USA.

Why is the media being so harsh on Russia when Georgia provoked the War?
Q. The moronic Georgian government should have used their heads before listening to the US and Israel and seizing Russian land. I believe that Russia's attack was completely justified. The hypocritical Bush administration labeled Russia's attack on Georgiaas "disproportianate". I remember this same idiot saying that "Israel has the right to defend herself" during it's brutal invasion on Lebanon when two of it's soilders were kidnapped in 2006. Russia attacking Georgia is a lie???
Q. It is! The war started in Georgia, because the Georgians said Georgia should belong to the Georgians, and the Osetians should go, but not all people know that the US has provoked the war to get it's hands on oil! The same is happening in Iraq, it just needs a cover. They are not fighting against terrorism, they are fighting for oil! Russia came in to stop the war in South Osetia. They are firing to stop the Georgians from attacking the Osetians. And there weren't any bombings in Baku, and anyway, Baku is not even in Georgia. It's in Tajikistan!

Could this situation with the Georgians, Russians and Ossetians erupt into a bigger conflict?

Otto Von Bismarck even said, "If there is ever another war in Europe, it will come out of some damned silly thing in the Balkans." America still has military personnel in Georgia, and the South Ossetians broke the cease fire, and then a whole battalion of Russian armor and a division of infantry men poured across the North Ossetian border into South Ossetia in minutes.
